If there's anyone that can acknowledge the power of connection and lived experience, it's Hyperemesis Australia founder Caitlin Kay-Smith.
After surviving HG herself, Caitlin knew change had to be made in the care and support systems of women suffering from HG.
In a bid to increase connection and feelings of support, Caitlin established the Hyperemesis Australia Peer Support Program. The program matches a suffering HG Mum with a volunteer, a fellow mother who has survived HG and has first hand experience navigating the rocky road of pregnancy sickness.
If you are suffering from HG, or know someone who is, head here to apply to participate in the Peer Support Program
